New Gear & CPC

Hello All,

Ordered some new gear earlier this week and the first thing arrived today! I've ordered;

Dense Haze Fluid
2.5m Ultimax Trusslite
Slappa 240 CD Case

The fluid arrived today, and it's so much better than the 'light' fluid! It makes the lights look so much better! I bought the fluid from CPC, and I've got to say I'm VERY impressed with their service! I ordered it last night at 6pm, and it arrived this afternoon! It was even packaged nicely in a box with those air-bag things. (unlike another store who just sent the bottle as is and arrived with a really damaged lid...)

So yeah, was just a thread to show I'm excited about my new gear and would definitely recommend CPC!

On another note, but domain has expired without any warning and i cannot get hold of the company, so am very irritated. However, it's a good chance to get a new domain for the discos!

Hope everyone is alright, had my fourth exam today - went really well!

My dealings with CPC have shown them to provide excellent service. There is no minimum order, but be aware that if your order is very low value, the handling charge is very high. ;) ;) :( :( Spend say £50 and it magically disappears. Funny that. :confused: :D :D :D

I have had the opposite, nothing but hassle with them. If you order large amounts its likely to turn up in several batches and the IN STOCK counters online dont always match up with what they really have in stock, so you order it thinking its in stock only to find it isnt and it will take weeks to arrive :( Obviously with smaller orders they are ok.

I use CPC for stand accessories, leads (and tools for my other job!), very reliable, very fast delivery. I spoke to the shop manager last year at BPM. very nice bloke!

CPC have been known to send the wrong item on occasion but by and large very good service. Fast delivery and good stockholding.

I'd agree with that.

The only thing I don't like is navigating their site. Takes ages to find stuff.

Amen, Brother. ;) ;) Easiest way I find is to use catalogue as guide. I once couldn't find a 9 pin connector. It was found under 9 way! :eek: :bang:

I had this problem with an ultimax lighting stand.

I had to wait about three months, but I was very pleased with it when it finally turned up.

Wow. You must have the patience of a saint Rob. I assume they must be hard to find or I would have gone elsewhere.

If I remember rightly, I remembered it early in December, and it turned up late in February.

After ordering it, I received an email about the waiting time until new stock was expected, and asking me to let them know if I wanted to cancel the order.

It wasn't urgent, though, as it was a replacement for my existing stand which was hard to raise due to having become slightly bent...but was still quite useable.

Just finished putting my CD collection in my Slappa case and i'm very impressed with it! Very thick wallets, nice finish etc - great buy :)

Only thing i find as a downside is that, it has space for the album cover, but not the back sleeve. Which is useless because you can't see the track names. Good job i've done a database on my laptop!
