Bet that got your attention. :D Following on from another thread, here's a story I can get past the censor no problem. :D Pull up a chair, it's a long one.

Hard to believe I know, but thirty five years ago, my disco fitted in the back of a Mini Traveller.  After a successful local disco, I was taking my Roadie home, when hie eagle eyes spotted two young ladies at the side of the road, hitching a ride. As the sober driver and filler of the fuel tank I was less than enthusiastic about stopping. My roadie was heavily fuelled with Bitter and Testosterone. Conversation:
" I bet they're going to Brid. I've not got that much petrol"
"Two girls"
"I've not got that much petrol""
"Where are you headed ladies? ".
"Brid". :bang:

Against my better judgment, we magically made the gear fit into the space left then the seats were up! To this day I don't know how we did it. The arrangement was that if we ran out of petrol, we used the spare can, and turned round. Amazingly, after avoiding a Police car in Driffield, and losing all the lights temporarily, we reached Brid, eagerly expecting "Payment in kind". ;) ;)

"Where do you live? "
"We don't live in Brid. We were going to kip on the beach!" :bang:
Well we couldn't turn 'em out, could we?

Cue parking up on Brid seafront at 3am. 5am, Police car stops on second lap of seafront. :( :( :(

In the conversations which followed, it transpired that our "passengers" were;
Crap at Maths
Very young
Fibbers.
Delete that which does not apply. ;)
When Plod had left, we turfed our guests out , and returned home much sadder, more tired, with less petrol, and a ticket to produce documents at a police station of our choice. :( :( :(

Proof that it's a small world? A week later, my neighbour's wife asks
"What were you doing on being stopped on Brid seafront at 6am with two girls in your motor? "

" How on earth did you know that? "

" I work with the wife of the Policeman who stopped you! "   :D :D :D

At least your neighbour never said that to your wife, presuming you were married at that age (check my maths - 35 years ago + 30 = 65 - About right I think):D

Funny story - I have many similar ones going to the coast at 2am after clubs chuck out with girls in the back of the car. Good times :D Oh to be young again. :(
