I need an effective way to cover all my leads, however i only have a limited budget of £70. Does anyone have any idea on what i shoul get. i would love to get a star cloth but they are out of my price range, does anyone know of a cheap place to buy a star cloth?

i think you can get star clothes for around £90 do a search on the forum and it should come up,worth holding on if you can till you can get the extra money together

I agree. Just use some Black Material which will do the same job in respect of covering cables etc and will only cost a few quid.

THIS (http://shop.ebay.co.uk/merchant/deetoke_W0QQ_nkwZQQ_armrsZ1QQ_fromZ) guy is cheap at around £40 - £50 for a 4' x 6' cloth, I've never seen one of his cloths personally, but his feedback is good. NJD do a decent cloth quite cheap, I've seen them on sale for under £100.

Why not get three bits of MDF, cover in black carpet cloth & hinge together.

That's what I use.

It will probably only cost about half your budget.

All options appear to have been covered.

Plain cloth- I inherited one from Justin, which has been invaluable.

Cheap starcloth. - NJD is often regarded as best value

Plywood/MDF painted or covered- Strong, cheap and custom fit. Not always easy to carry if you make it as big as mine.

You pays your money......................:D

I'll answer a question to anyone.

I'm not sure you'll be able to get a Starcloth for £70, It is probably worth waiting slightly longer, and getting a nice DJ Skirt Starcloth, to cover front of deckstand (Guessing that's what you use).

Use a black cloth, and later put a revo sweep behind it for a mega effect.

(still can't find the edit button)

An Ideal way would be to use cable ties, and route cables neatly etc.

These cost next to nothing, about £1 for a few hundred, money well spent.
