Shoot me if this is old news but I only stumbled across this by accident.

The PayPal Security Key (https://www.paypal.com/uk/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_security-key) is one of those RSA-type dongles that gives an extra layer of protection when signing into your PayPal account.

One more layer for the hackers to work round is good by me.

There's also an SMS version but for a once-off £3 the token is fine by me. Just ordered one.

Arrived just now and was up and running in about 2 minutes.

Now, to access my PayPal account and authorise transactions I need my user name, password, and a 6-digit code from the dongle which is only valid for 30 seconds.

Doddle. Well worth £3 of anyone's money.
