Well today has been a funny one :)
I had an interview today at Nottingham City Hospital to run one of their cafe's serving toasties, jacket potatoes etc. It's also a newsagent. I got the job which I was rather chuffed about. I have always fancied doing some voluntary work so now's my chance to shine with Ham and Cheese toasties :D
Then I had my hair bleached followed by a doctors appointment. It was actually with the nurse ;) to have a ESG. She told me to take my shirt off etc and she stuck these weird things on my chest. I was then instructed not to move or jolt whilst she does the test. My immediate reaction was to crack up with laughter. I just couldn't stop laughing. She then said "oh god, oh dear lord, the machine is going up and down like a yo-yo" and then got me even worse. Doesn't sound very funny now but at time's when I'm not supposed to laugh.....I laugh. :sj: A 5 minute test must have taken near to 15 minutes.
We have then drove down to Grandad's holiday home in lovely Skegness for the night. The boiler man is coming so someone needs to be in the house whilst he does his job, so we thought we made make a night and day with it.
I love it here and we come every year for at least a week....call us sad but it's true :D
Darren simply said "Charlie, you need to get out more" :sj:
Cheers folks, just thought I would share that one with you :)
