Ok, Am redoing my office and i want to mount some monitors on the wall for testing stuff out, I want to make them nice and quick to remove on and off the wall,

So what i want to do is put 2 bolts in the wall so the threads are sticking out, I could obvisouly get a bit of wood and put them through that,

The reason being i want to wingnut the monitor on,

Is there a way to do it so the bolt is just in the wall ?

Yes but what im asking is not something ive come across, Or needed to do, Normaly you would permantly fix it, i.e the thread going into the wall, I want it the reverse, Hence i could do via a batton, But im sure there is a way of doing it another way

I can't think of any way to do it without some form of batten or plate - unless you drilled a good way into the brick.
