acme dynamo and dynarock

hello i have 4 dynamo's and i am thinking of getting 2 dynarock's to join them in master/slave,but i have been told that the barrel effect will not work which is the effect i am after,can anyone enlighten me if this is true or not
i have searched everywhere but i cannot find this answer

I know someone else on the forum links 2 dynamos and 2 dynarocks master/slave, and it works fine. I think it depends which order you master/slave them in.

ps just nipped to soundsavers(only a mile away)and went for Equinox Nebula Laser like yours but i walked out with a KAM Laser Tri 160

We have 2 of each and they run master/slave just fine.

I usually run Dynamo master, then 2 Dynarock slaves then 1 Dynamo slave on the end. Thay will also all work together with a CA8 if you want.

We have run 4 Dynarocks and 4 Dynamos all linked master slave just fine, the first Dynarock was the master that time and again all good.
