View Full Version : Another T Shirt Question
I didn't want to hijack or take off topic the other thread about T-shirts, but I have seen some T-shirts in HTFR catalogue that are battery powered and run a graphic equaliser design on the T-shirt.
Apparently the react to sound and are quite bright in the dark that is the disco arena.
Has anyone seen one of these and if so what's your comments.

Yes, very tacky IMO
OK for kids I guess, but couldn't take a guy seriously wearing a flashing t-shirt.

I was given one for Father's Day last year, but haven't used it yet, as I feel it's a bit too tasteful for me. ;) :D

Oi. My Daughter bought me it. ;) One more word, and I'll show you the error of your ways. Vigorously, and with diagrams. ;) :D :D

My experience with these:
The wires in certain ones are not covered on the inside and therefore itch your chest like mad!
Yes they are bright and make you stand out!
But it is more for the clubbing scene really!
I too would never where one to a gig!
My opinion.

I expect my 11 year old daughter would think they are cool.

That's great then. If an 11 year old girl would think it was cool then I'm pretty sure that a 13 year old boy will. Looks like I've solved the problem of what to get for his birthday
Cheers

Maybe if you wear one at a gig and swing off the middle of your trussing you can be the centerpiece :)

My next door neighbour has a 13 year old son who loves to help me set up and test the disco stuff in the garage. He's too young to come out to a gig to help out but he's a great kid and wants to be a DJ, so it looks like this will make his day

(PS If it's cool I might get one in case I get any school disco's to do)

Excellent idea, not taking lights will make me a greener DJ

I've got one :sofa: :D
I tried it on when I was DJing on NYE at a local pub and I had about 5 people come over to me and ask me where I got it from, as they said it looked 'cool'.....must be the beer! :D:D:D

Seen them at CyberDog in Camden - I actually rather like them, but I like the circular one that looks like PCBs lighting up, better.

I've got one as well  I prefer the headphones :)
If I'd had a van load of them I would have made more money selling TQualizers than from the disco. They may be naf but everybody wants one.

Personally I would expect Ray Von from Phoenix Nights to wear one. That said is anybody ever finds a starcloth suit manufacturer, that would be comedy!!! Maybe I will call Terry at S&H?
