Funny. I had a bloke come up and complain to me about the rubbish cheesey music that I was playing.

One proplem

Ive been doing the gig for two years and its always been a cheesey disco

I then do the usual and ask him what sort of music is "good music"

"I dunno what do you want to play"

"It doesnt matter, its a cheesey disco"

"Well what would you play at home"

"That doesnt matter, its a cheesey disco"

"Ok what do you play in the clubs"

"Erh.... That doesnt matter because this is a cheesey disco"

Put it this way they have been up for so long that if you took them off the wall underneath would be a different colour to the rest of the wall

A few weeks ago I helped a friend out at a local club where they play 70's/80's/90's/alternative (and the BIG posters outside all say that) and I had a lady come over and ask when I was going to play some R&B??? My answer - "next week in a different club".

Some people just don't seem to read the posters when they walk through the door (never mind that there's a speaker above the door which must have been playing something like the Baywatch theme tune when they walked in!)
