Hi guys just wanting someone to back up my thoughts on this matter.
Have a wedding in gloucester coming up. ITs at an tennis centre.......
Room doesnt have a hard floor, its carpet. I know a local company that provides portable dancefloors but havent used them. I mentioned that I know someone who can supply one and I'll charge him the cost price. (Yeah I know before anyone mentions this I wont be doing this again)
At first he asked for 6 metres squared which I was told would be about £160 from the company in question. He said no that was too much.
He emails me a few days ago asking for a quote for an area 6 metres by 4 metres. I email the company and they tell me £200.
The chap rang me and I told him about the second quote and he then says why is it more expensive for less flooring?? Now I thought to myself its MORE but because he used different measurements for the two sizes..
Now I am right in think that 6 metres squared is 3x2 metres? I want to email him back pointing this out but I would feel alot better if someone knows 100% that this is the case.
Neil
