I've definitely seen a thread on this before (a fair while ago) but can't find it.
I'm after a bag to carry the poles and brackets for my 4ft Giraffe Deckstand but not necessarily the large sides. Also fairly inexpensive.
I'm sure someone posted a link to an item on ebay but can't for the life of me remember what it was called.
Help please :)

Yes I eventually found it but also found that (like you said) there aren't any on ebay at the moment.
I've found some speaker stand bags that claim to be 52" long. It should be enough but will need to measure the cross-bars when I get home as I know these are longer than 4ft (48").

Check your local Aldi's for a fisherman's bag, there were some in stock near me earlier this week, i've got one and it holds the 4ft Giraffe deckstand nicely with some handy pockets for the nuts and bolts etc.

how come you want a bag? I know it might sound a stupid question but I use one and just lay the poles down the side of some cases in the van and then just one trip in with the poles and another for the two sides in one hand and carry a light in the other?

Bags protect them and other equipment from getting chipped which can be unsightly as well as letting in rust. I carry mine in a big soundab bag I fit the whole lot including 2 pieces of tri truss in the bag and it fits fine. I keep my crossbars in a diffent bag ( one of those nice ski bags from aldi we all bought)

I don't use a bag as I never take mine apart.

How about a Arriba AC-180 case, it measures 1473x305x267mm and even has wheels! :D
