afternoon all,
im after some advice if you dont mind..
i bought a transcension dmx controller last July. It was fine for 8-9 months then just wouldnt power up.
I lost a lot of uplighting jobs and had to give work to others as the controller wasnt fixed for 2 MONTHS. so i wasnt happy, but grinned and beared it.
I got the controller back, reprogrammed everything, then rebooked a lot of more jobs then i had 2 on on friday and saturday and the controller broke again!
(i got round the problem, but thats not the point).
I took the controller back to the shop today and they said theyll send it off to be fixed. i said i didnt want that because:
a) i took 2 months last time (and then broke again)
b) by the time i get it back it will be out of warranty
c)i will lose a lot more work and be out of pocket
d)i have no confidence in the product anymore (theyd sent back another at the same time.
having read previous threads - am i right in saying the product is not fit for purpose?
and do i hold my ground on the poor repair time?
i have the original instructions but not the PLAIN WHITE box it came in. the shop say they cannot give a refund without the white box.
any help much appreciated
thanks
