Wonder if anyone would care to define the following.

High class Wedding.

Average Wedding.

Low key Wedding..

I am interested to find out what we all say. ie kit, price variations ( I realise that the client has the say in a lot of it)

High class Wedding.

A society or celebrity wedding.


Average Wedding.

A wedding with the reception at a nice hotel, golf club, racecourse, marquee etc.


Low key Wedding.

A wedding with the reception in a pub.


I am interested to find out what we all say. ie kit, price variations ( I realise that the client has the say in a lot of it)

For me there is no real difference in price variation or kit, other than the fact that they can either choose my standard disco or deluxe option.

That`s a good definition , unless the client asks for something pacific ,I take the same set up.
I must admit , by that definition I have only had a low key affair.

Wedding is a wedding.

It only gets classified as such if the client says so.

I think part of it is down to the standard of guests too......... I really will get my coat now :D

No not really. Would you treat a wedding at a pub different to one at a hotel?

Only thing that factors in my view regarding venue is access to power, dancefloor if required and room size.

I don't really do wedding receptions in pubs, as in the past I've found that people who have them in pubs tend to be on a low budget, and are therefore not my customer.

And I suppose a low key wedding is one where there is a fight as you arrive :D :D
