I have a school disco :eek: on Thursday - actually it's a freebie for my children's school who are fundraising for MacMillan cancer and it's only for an hour. (thank goodness!) Off Friday, 50th birthday in a marquee on Saturday and wedding reception on Sunday.

Friday: Hoping to go to sunny Newbury to look at a van, but the guy has someone looking at it tomorrow evening & another person on Thursday, so I don't hold out much hope of it still being available by Friday, but we'll see. if it HAS gone, at least it will save me a long trip down the M4.

Saturday: Wedding at Cherkley Court near Leatherhead with 11pm finish! It's a new venue which they started hiring out last Summer, just before my first gig there. It was the former home of Lord Beaverbrook, the MP & newspaper owner, and he entertained a number of people there including Churchill, Macmillan & Rudyard Kipling. I'm looking forward to going back there, as it's a nice venue with very friendly & helpful staff. When I was there last year, the person in charge gave me a guided tour of the entire house & gardens while I was waiting to set up!

Sunday: Regular pub quiz right on the river in Isleworth. I'm hoping it will be as good as last Sunday when I had 11 teams...the most I've had since I started there last autumn.

I got it BTW. The hotel manager decided there and then.

So that's 4 or5 gigs over xmas in the bag...only an hour each before the resident DJ kicks it. Might take 1x Mackie for a monitor and 2 par cans - only other thing I need is my mic, my mp3 player and my little mixer!

I have my school prom tonight :) which I'm sort of looking forward too. I hope the DJ is really really cheesy and plays stuff like, When will I see you again - Three Degrees and gets everyone to shake each others hand and have a hug. I also hopes he plays things like, "Thats what friends are for" etc etc :D :D

Tomorrow night I have a football presentation. This will be my first one and second outing with Vectis's lights. :)

Monday Thru Wednesday I was doing a uni summer school. A special 'Ladies Day' yesterday which was Thursday, it was 'Ascot at Chester', which was at Chester racecourse. Im doing a surprise 50th tonight, an 18th tomorrow night. A christening on Sunday afternoon and a crappy social club night on Sunday as a favour for someone (they owe me big time), then some kind of student prom on Monday at a nice hotel. Then Tuesday and Wednesday are uni summer school nights again. Thursday off, then a football presentation on Friday followed by nothing next weekend (after all that anti climax eh !!!)

Managed to get a last minute gig on Saturday in Essex. Finished at 2.00am and then slept in the car at South Mimms as I was knacknered and thought that I was going to fall asleep at the wheel. Woke up a 7 and the drove home.

Waiting to board plane to fly to Faro for a Black & White Theme party at a golf resort in Penina. My luggage is well over as I am carrying x2 case logics and then a Slappa 600 as hand luggage. Oh and serato. Belts and braces. You will be chuffed to hear that there will be no gig logs as x2 of my cameras have been nicked.

Fly back tomorrow!
