Anyone worked with, or know of, a decent covers band in the Midlands that they'd care to recomend? MY client is looking for a U2, James, Kings of Leon, Beatles type affair.

I would go to a reputable agent who will have a website full of them.

You might pay more but you should get whats needed.

I don’t know the song they cover but I worked with Cartoon Kings last year.
They were fantastic; although expensive I highly recommend them.

The Cartoon Kings' repertoire ranges from Oasis to Kylie, U2 to The Beatles. There is a wide and versatile selection in the rock/pop genre as well as guaranteed 'dance-floor' classics like Make Me Smile, I’m a Believer, and Brown-Eyed Girl with up to date music from artists such as Kaiser Chiefs, Snow Patrol, Fratellis and Amy Winehouse completing the play list.

We are an established band and have played all over the North at Weddings and Corporate events including venues such as the Reebok Stadium. We have a 6k rig and top equipment.

To be fair, we are not cheap (1k+), and only have a few dates available.
