Depends on the decor, client, colour scheme etc.....

They're popular for Weddings.. as top table backdrops, or for the actual ceremony.

They also use fibre optic, so you don't have to worry about LEDs needing replacing, like you would with the the black starcloths.

You can also use different coloured gels in front of the fibre optic source, which is quite cool!

Dont the white ones get dirty and show marks and stains alot more than the black ones?

No more than a marquee lining does... you wouldn't normally use it in a situation where it would be easily marked/stained. They also have a very fine covering cloth, that protects the main cloth, which I beleive can be machine washed (or at least cleaned at a dry cleaners)

Maybe I'm a bit of a snob but there's no way on earth I'd ever buy ANYTHING from an advert so poorly written no matter how much of a bargain it may appear.

If they can't be bothered running a spell checker or picking up a dictionary then how good is the customer service likely to be? :confused:

Vectis, I was thinking the same thing as I typed my post (apart from the snob bit!).

As others have said it depends on use, location, decor etc.... It's like asking if a F1 car is any good or better than a ford escort.... In different situations either could be better than the other one!

But yes white and ivory starcloths both have their place within the industry alongside the black ones and used right it can look really good.

Yes they can get marked and stained but they can be cleaned too... Just depends what the mark or stain is really.

VERY CHEAP VERY NASTY!!!!

These cloths are basically LED Christmas tree nets that the guys have cut a hole in the cotton cloth they use and then secured them before selling them as "starcloths"... The material they use isn't too bad but unlike wool serge it creases really easily and the creases don't drop out a so after a few times of use it will just look cheap and not really improve your setup at all!

I don't think they would survive too long on the road either and the patterns on them just look cheap and nasty in my opinion.

Far better saving up and getting something like the NJD wool serge LED starcloth.
