OMG What a night.

Best night ever!. Going to look at the video in a bit. Couldnt really do a log as I was on my billy jean tonight. Three hours of drum n bass everyone going mental, lots of mic work which got the crowd going even more. Never jumped around so much in my like it was more like djing at a major club than a mobile disco!. Awesome loved tonight am well happy tonight!

Just got home from mine, a wedding at the Bush Hotel in Farnham, Surrey.

A really good night, and I packed away in record time. Having finished at midnight, I was starting up the van ready to leave at 12.23am.

I did a few bits of video on my mobile phone. Just had a quick look and it's ok so tomorrow I will do a bit of editing (sadly though, I can't make myself look less knackered) and MAY post it up for all to disect.

Tonight's gig was mental...packed dancefloor most of the night.

Well Ive been looking at the video and it all looks quite badly out of focus but needed to be that wide so I could capture the dancefloor. When the scrobe was being used it was alot better and having read some of the reviews it does say you need decent amounts of light. Last time I listen to a comets salesperson.......

What do they know!! They only read what is in front of them, on the box or the card on the shelf.

Have you ever posted a picture of your rig? I'd be interested to see a rig for a wedding that can be packed away and starting up the van in 23 minutes, I remember you saying you don't use a roady too. That's going some, Hi5 !

Packed up in 40mins!

Was in the middle of a field! :P

One DJ I know can pack down in 20mins. His rig is so compact, etc.

I take it you were all working solo last night??

Took me ages to pack down. Needed a few minutes to just calm down and then had loads of people coming up and talking to me which I didnt mind really. Had 4 metres of trussing bass bins and tops and a good 40ft walk from the stage to the van. Took best part of an hour but usually on a standard set up can be packed up and into the van in 40 minutes top.

No.

There were only about 70-80 people, so it was only my standard disco, which doesn't have the second stand, t-bar & effects, so that saved me a few minutes. Apart from that it was easy access, and the fact that I had a 30 mile drive home was an added incentive for me to get a move on! (and before anyone mentions it, I know a 30 mile drive isn't much for some of you, but it is for me!).

I remember you saying you don't use a roady too.

Correct!

That's going some, Hi5 !

Cheers! :D

I wouldn't even do a 16th birthday with a drum & bass theme for £1,000.

Respect, deckstar!

It was the best gig ever, seriously I was semi dreading it because I get a few kids come up to me at gigs going "oh yeah play some drum n bass the place will go mental bah bah bah" oddly enough at a 40th birthday or something daft like that.

It was brilliant though, cant say that enough!. I got really caught up with it was giving it loads on the mic and they were really up for it. Played loads of good drum n bass tracks and mixed in some dance like born slippy, blow my whistle. I was jumping up and down loads during the night acting a prat and acting up for the crowd. Drank shed loads of water and I was sweating the whole time but it didnt matter. We had kids on shoulders of other people abit similar to glasto just an amazing amazing evening that wont be forgotten soon. This is way I was so annoyed at the video camera quality! Im uploading a few more at the moment so will post them on here
