After reading the very latest copy of pro mobile dj i am looking forward to getting a demo of the new equinox range at my local dj shop.

Has anyone else been lucky enough to view them in the flesh.

Here is a link to a demo all taken from the www.prolight.co.uk website

Not my cup of tea really the scanning one. I think the 'Quadziller' is effective, but not sure i'd buy it. Also, the Aquarius laser (best star sign ;)) is good, but not enough variation from the current starcluster effects for me to buy it.

I'm loving that laser. It may have to be on my list of "things to buy" :)

They look ok. How much are Prolight pushing them out for?

Beest wishes,

Neil.

Not impressed. Its just dots again. Granted the dots are doing different things, but still...

You never see a video for led without loads and loads of smoke.......... :D

Do like the new units but don't think they be suitable for myself not with smoke/haze machines bans most venues have in place.

Looks superb for club installs.

I saw the quadzilla and the triclops on demo a few weeks ago and was impressed by them more than the rest of the new range they are introducing.

The triclops looked like it would be great as a centrepiece and the quadzilla I thought would look good mounted on top of the crossbar. I was even more impressed when smoke was added.

Once my local dealer has them in stock they are on my list to buy

I may be adding a pair of quad zillas as well as they're blooming amazing, just wish more places let you use haze.

They are all just variations on a theme.

Quadzilla just looks like a different shaped case to point the dots in a different direction. The pick of the bunch for me is the Mystic LED as at least it moves the dots rather than just flashing them on and off. Also looks better without haze.

The Tricops looks pretty cool, but bulky to carry around and those mirrors could get broken without a case.

The laser is just another variation. Again they all look pretty much the same. If you have a diffraction laser already I doubt you would change to this but for new buyers it has something to offer.

The Quadzilla moves, in the demo I saw it looked amazing and covered the dance floor in waves.
