Hi Guys,

Just looking to know if anyone has worked at the Britianna Hotel in Wolverhampton. Just really want to know if it is decent venue as friend of mine is looking to have her Wedding there.

I've never set foot in the place, but used to work in the hotel industry. As a rule, Britannia Hotels have always been ten years past needing a refurbishment. I know nothing of the quality of food, service etc., but the fabric of the properties has always been pretty inadequate.

I, too, have never set foot in there (or Wolverhampton for that matter :p ) but if these are the same Britannia Hotels offering £999 weddings well that just about sums up my initial thoughts...

We did alot of work there over the last few years,

they have 2 function rooms 1 large and 1 small. BOTH upstairs with not very easy access.

As a hotel it is ok and on par with most but there are better i will say and it aint the cheapest.

Would suggest the new Ramada Hotel in wolverhampton.

Although it is an upstairs function room and could cater for about 100 people max there is access via a fire escape for the DJ to make it easier and also the venue are well organised with the buffett and are friendly.

Do not know about the Britannia though sorry.

The Britannia hotel in Nottingham is very shabby yet can charge £2000 an event. I once inquired when I was organizing a party. The room was nice and big but the decor was beyond repair. I nearly laughed when the lady quoted that price!

Actually, if it's not too far away, The Royal Hotel, Sutton Coldfield has a cracking hall behind it.

Err the Ramada park hall firstly is not a new hotel it has been around for many many many years, has a function room that will easily hold 700 not 100 and is on fround floor if you load from the front doors. lol.
