Why am I selling them? I've got to pay for my daughter's wedding in September - did you realise wedding cakes cost £400!?

quote from the ad.

Now Im guessing hes a DJ? surely every dj knows just how expensive weddings are.........

I know how expensive weddings are but specific prices for wedding cakes? Well, I wouldn't expect to be the first person that people ask!

So who's going to offer to DJ his wedding for him as a swap / p/ex deal...?

I'd give it a go if I wasn't (a) fully booked in September and (b) 250 miles away... :D

They are said to have been used in a Band.

For loud Disco work subs required presumably--a load more money.

Look good for a Band PA though.

Im with Excalibur--;)

And you are basing this on what assumption?

Mackie SRM450s are 12" and plenty loud enough.

What about the bass end though?

That Mackie sub I worked with last year in conjunction with one of your DJs did the job ;)

What about it? I use my cabs on their own for a lot of venues. They are plenty loud enough. The subs are for reinforcement and do create a nicer overall sound but aren't necessary.

I did notice Saturday playing Thriller:eek: the subs make a difference--but then you own one of the best systems money can buy for Mobile Work so I guess your going to get a very good sound from one cabinet.

Some of us have to use subs :D

Don't get me wrong Al, subs do make the overall sound a lot better, but all I am saying is that they are not always necessary. :)

If you buy the right cabs, they're superfluous. ;)
