I have gaffa tape, spare mic, spare lead, small case with tools, glasses case, wallet, duster, light, pens and small change.

I have gaffa tape, spare mic, spare lead, small case with tools, glasses case, wallet, duster, light, pens and small change.

Not a bag, but a small ADDA odd job box with lift out tray.

The lift out tray contains a notepad, pens, screwdrivers, fuses, 5 CDs of my most played songs, business cards and ipods.

Underneath, the main box has gaffa tape, a small table lamp, headphones, towel, cups and spare bulbs.

I've probably failed to remember at least one thing, but that's pretty much it.

I have a prolight box with power cables/gaffa tape and some of the small four ways.

I then have a carry bag (sort of ones htfr were giving away at bpm last year) one for dmx cables, one for iec power cables and one for audio cables such as speakon and phono.

I also have a tool box which naturally as well as tools contains spare fuses, bolts etc.. more or less spares including plugs!

I have an over-large laptop bag and all the emergency spares live in there - fuses, lamps, HDDs, mic etc. along with those not-often-used-but-important-to-know-where-they-are items such as allen keys, DMX terminators and paperwork such as laminated copies of PLI/PAT/PD and risk assessment forms etc.

It's a bit like Mrs VV's handbag but with disco-y type stuff in there :o :D

Soz Boss, I don't use a bag, I use the same type of container for spares etc as I do for my cables and stuff.

Gaffa tape, zip ties (all different sizes velcro & plastic), small bag with essential tools in, terminator ends, business cards etc..

Pretty much what everyone else has said.

Apart from the all the small spares and techy/electrical tools, I would also add a mobile phone charger, business cards and business card holders.

But I wouldn't call it a man-bag. It's a sports holdall with about fifteen different pockets.

I also keep a load of stuff in my laptop bag (a monster of a thing with 4 main compartments and several other pockets and dividers). It cost me £80 when I bought my Dell all those years ago and it's proven to be a solid investment (it's outlasted the laptop by 5 years up to now, anyway!)

Spare Mic, Spare headphones, gaffa tape, loads of extension and kettle leads. Spare DMX cables and smoke fluid. I carry a spare cet of all my certificates too....:)

as for accessories. I have a mini aluminium metal case from b&q which i keep in there spare lamps my sennheiser bag with headphones and radio mic transmitter in and business cards. deodrant and that kind of stuff.

and computer related stuff in my leather targus laptop bag like spare cdrs mobile broadband dongles public liability & pat certificates in a display folder.

I am tempted to get a small flightcase made. what i can house my mini fridge in (6 can capacity) and a space down the side to put a multipack of coca cola in and space to put the empty cans in as well.

Spare miniature keyboard

Power pack for Cortex

When at gig Sat Nav, Mobile Phone, Wallet.

No fuses.

Also use the "bag" on the way out to save time for odd items that didnt get put in the right boxes--excluding amps, mixers and speakers :D

Yes you spray it all over them before you start stops all the idiots and wannabees.

No only joking , it's a spray you can buy from boots, I find that when I have just spent the best part of an hour carrying gear in and setting up I get a bit nervous just before I start playing seems to work for me, of course it might just be physiological but once I've played 3 or 4 tracks and I'm in the groove and fine then.

As for the condoms....well when you finally get around to your first gig you may be propositioned by a female (or male...whatever floats your boat) who may suggest some type of intercourse so it may be beneficial to carry some protection with you to lessen the chance of some baby Max G's running about.

To be fair though you may have a point about the first aid kit, perhaps a new thread to discuss this will be in order.

As a first-aider I tend to carry a travel first-aid box in the car anyway.

As for condoms, I've no need as I'm probably the most faithful person I know. I've got a loving (and gorgeous!) other half to come home to. It's a wonderful life!

I carry the usual bits and bits in an old CD flight case including, lamps, fueses, various power and sound adaptors, spare mic, nuts and bolts including spare nuts for the Ultimax stand and a spare cross fader.
I even carry a spare Ultimax curtain (long story)!! :D

Not one dedicated bag but I do have stuff stashed across several places, most of which is in my Gigskinz Laptop bag and includes two spare mics, some lamps, various connectors, a spare GLI, Paracetamol and the life saver that is Immodium.
