Db Technologies opera digital

Has anyone heard these yet? or does anyone own a pair. Just spotted the new range on the DB Technologies website. They look good! interesting to know how they sound.

They sound exactly the same as the original opera series. They have just replaced the amp with the digital version that weighs a lot less.
I just bought some opera 402's and love them they are a great speaker but if you buy it in digital it is almost twice the price just to lower the weight by 5 kilos.

I see, not worth the extra money then. Also looks like they have changed the cab design slightly.

Just had a look at the specs of the 402D.

Says it gives out 33% more power output. Don't know if that is peak power or what, but what ever it is, its going to give more output overall.

A digital amp is going to be a lot lighting in weight and I would also guess that they might of used a neo bass driver to keep the weight down even more.

If anything, they should out perform the old cab design as newer parts and possibly a better design has been used.
