Just had a phone call from the PRS making sure I have the correct licences for my premises etc!

Anyone else had this?

I had one about 15 minutes ago.

I said "I don't have any premises" and he replied "Where are you then", I said "At home".........."Thank You sir, goodbye" he said :D

Well, I have my chair that I am sitting in at the moment within my home. I think they were talking more about Produb.

They wouldn't ask about Produb if they were asking about licences for premises though., would they?

It did feel like she didn't know what she was talking about. I'm sure she was reading off a script.

I actually said to her I am aware of Produb etc etc etc blah blah blah and she just said, "oh ok, bye"

MCPS/PRS usually employ sub contractors to do jobs like that, so they probably didn't know what you were talking about!

How strange.

Why would PRS phone to ask about licences for your premises?

Surely they know that most mobile discos don't have premises?

Presumably an office in your home doesn't count?
