I'm just sitting here, about to do the invoices and wondering who is going to be there to pay them. I was even offered a cheque yesterday from one of them and I refused, telling them I didn't have the invoice with me, but would sort it out tomorrow!

I agree there. My auntie works in out High School office and she get only 2 weeks holiday out of the 7. So she is in the office the rest of the time...

As I understand it, the position of bursar is one you have to attain via exams etc, otherwise you are just the secretary or finance officer etc. ;)

Well I don't know what the standard procedure is in such hallowed places as Darren and the rest of you seem to work in, but at the end of the functgion I give a nice Lady or Gentleman a begging letter, and they almost always take pity on me, and exchange it for coin of the realm. :confused: :confused:

I find with corporate, schools, etc this usually fails.
