Hi guys.I am goint to spin tunes on next friday.I was always using Denon s3500 s3700 cd players or cdj400.This party will be important for me.
I ask anyone who has got pair of pioneer cdj1000 if I could play with them for while.
I do not want make to many mistakes with beatmatching.
Don't get me wrong ,I am not newbe but cdj1000 are bit different then denons.
If anyone lives in London or very near that would be great. Thanks a lot.

I have used both and there is little difference. There is more grip on the cdj1000's and while its not as nice to look at as the denons it is slighty better. In all fairness it doesnt make a difference if your using denons or cdj's you can either beatmatch or not.

but they still round up or down to the nearest round number so still doesnt really help anyone who cant beat match only to point them roughly in the right direction?

I moved from the Denon DNS3500s to the CDJ 1000mkIII and could beat mix instantly on it. If anything its easier on the Pioneers so you shouldn't worry.

I've been in dj store, played with vdj. They are pretty same about jog feel. They did not have cdj1000.I was allowed to have fun for 45min.I have checked djm 800, effects mainly and and cue options.

Which is best for mixing etc, S3500 or 1000 ?

Well.I must say that pitch bend works similiar.Maybe pioneer loads songs faster and has bigger memory buffer but denon has more effects, presets.Especially s3700 makes me smile. It has real scratch, accuracy ,auto loops, midi, mass storage and usb options which makes this unit so universal. You can really have joy with it.
Do not get me wrong, cdj 1000 is very good but bit old and something has to replace it.

Agree.

I use Denon DN-3500 for my playout system and I have had a go on the CDJ1000 mk3. I prefer the feel of the Denon over the Pioneer but I do like the display on the CDJ 1000.

I can beat match on the Denon HD2500 can do it on my DN3500. But as deckstardeluxe says "it doesnt make a difference if your using denons or cdj's you can either beatmatch or not"
