ok i done my last disco tonight but i have to say the reason i started doing this was to bring smiles to faces and i did that in a big way tonight.

wedding ok i put the prep work in and had a great night in fact it was outstanding full dancefloor all night played a extra 45 mins free this was my swan song after all

i had so many peeps asking why i was giving this up as i am a natural and have the ability to entertain not my words but i dirgress it got me thinking why am i concidering doing this i am good at what i do i enjoy what i do.....
so i have hit crunch time i am not going to sit here and say i am going if i am not.

work is extreamly busy at the mo and i find i am not able to do the prep required for each dicso but i have seen tonight and on many ocasions that you can provide a service with just as good quality with little or no prep.

tonight was awesome one that even Darren would be proud to put his name to.

i cant stop doing this the pull of a good gig is far greater than a few pints down the local bar.

so i will continue to do the best i can to the public of dorset in the hope that one day ill go to shiny heaven.

Just what I was thinking.

Seems like the logical thing to do, as you'll then have all day every day to do as much prep work as you like...and the lack of time for that seems to be your current problem, so problem solved!

I was in the same situation. Wasnt going to do anymore and give up due to time etc but then was asked to do one for a family memeber of a family memeber if that makes sense.I thought it was going to be crap because it was in a very small venue.....in the end i had a great time and ended up playing a extra hour and a half (got paid extra!!!).So now ive gone out and bought all new equipment....just my friend who was going halfs with me has decided to drop out before putting his money in and im not happy ;(

Thats what i was thinking.....prob is he is a good mate normally but when it comes down to money he turns into a tight wad!!!! Im hoping to stay mates with him then i can "hire" him as my roadie!
