Anyone without a website these days is making a big mistake in my opinion, as they are losing a lot of work.

After all, where's the first place the vast majority of people look when they want a disco?

Enough said!

I don't need one any longer as I do not work for myself.

I agree with Rob, it would be crazy not to have one for advertising/booking purposes. However, on the same token, there are so many mobile disco websites which may aswell not exist, they're that bad!

I would have assumed a website is a must have advertising tool in this day and age, even if it is just a single page providing a quick overview of your service and some contact details.

Just had a quick look. It's an amazing coincidence, but your Terms & Conditions (http://www.gjroadshow.co.uk/terms) are unbelievably similar to those of This Disco (http://www.robjamesentertainment.co.uk/terms.htm)

I'm very flattered, but couldn't you have at least changed the order & wording a BIT...rather than doing a straight cut & paste?

No website for me.

If I was actively seking more work, I'd have one without doubt, but I'm pretty happy with what I've got at the minute.

I Agree with that, all companies have them. If Customers are looking online (inc Google), and you're not listed, they can't find you.

I've got a domain name registered (well two, one for disco's, one for another project) but I've got no web designs at all, so it's set to coming soon and has been for over a year

Most of my work is word of mouth, and because I've got a full time job, plus other projects within the industry, I mainly pick and chose which gigs I can do, so don't need to rely on a website for business. Plus beacuse of networking etc... there's a few guys here who kindly pass on work too, if they're booked, as they know my work/standard etc....
