My name is Dave and im 40. Originally from Acton In London now living in Pembrokeshire Wales for the last 8 years. Started playing with sound systems from the age of 14 building my own amps from RTVC in Acton, there were quite a few reggae sound systems around then and I just got the bug, I just love bass.
I worked in the tv and film lighting industry for a while and am now an electrician. Last year I was diagnosed with Hodgkin lymphoma and had 6 months of chemotherapy and 3 weeks of daily radiotherapy which finished the end of january. I am now in remission but am still very tired from the treatment which was a real nightmare:(
This is just a hobby for me and I do the odd party for family and friends.
I have just upgraded from Pioneer cdj200 and djm500 to cdj1000mk3 and djm800:D so the old stuff will be for sale if anyone is interested. My amp rack consists of Matrix str3000, str2400, str1200 & Driverack pro pa which sends out the top middle & bottom to 4x 18" Collosus xb 2x 10" horn loaded and 2 compression horns + 4 bullet tweeters to make it really crisp.
I am currently looking to buy a quality active set up as this is just to heavy for me now which is a shame as the sound quality is awesome.
I am still not back to work which is bad news for my garage as its getting a pounding from the system :o
All the best,
Dave
