Hello all
Anyone ever played HMS Belfast- I suspect the loading is not great but would appreciate it if anyone can offer any help?

Lol you think Belfast is hard don't try the ark royal. They make you take it up this narrow gangplank nearly vertacle up to the hanger deck. It was more like mountaineering with the gear. Mind you on the way out the tide was out so a bit easier.

The walkway onto it with all the sharp narrow turns etc will be the hard bit.

Lol Vectise I have. The aitomatic bulkhead doors and narrow gangway are a nightmare. Mind you that passanger deck is pretty big to fill with sound. I started DJ'ing in Portsmouth used to do the party nights occasionally the ferry used to do a circle of the island past the spitbank forts and then back again. Do you know if they still do those?

Great times. mind you wished I had my powered speakers then asmy old Laney speakers were hell on earth to get up those stairs. Lol needed to tie half a house brick on the decks as well to stop skipping in the swell :)

Not the main ferry co's but there's two or three smaller firms do them - Princess Caroline being the main one. I was asked to gig on that thing a while ago but turned it down because believe it or not I actually get quite sea-sick :o
