For 4 basic lights I charge £50, for DMX linked lights, try for a bit more. Take a decent cash deposit to be held against damage.

Agreed---you need to make sure you have cover for hiring out without an operator.

Fairly unlikely you have---so you need PLI deffo and maybe damage cover as well.

Im not sure of H and S regs applying to hiring out--back to Tony;)

Unless you hire out regularly it wont be worth the extra cost quite possibly.

For two lights I charge £75...so I guess it would be £150 for four!

If you are worried about the operation of them you could always pay someone to be in attendance with the lights. That wouldn't have to cost much.

You then might also need Employers Liability Insurance cover on top of extra PLI premiums.:eek:

It really cant be worth it unless its going to be a full time business.
