I currently use a dds 80 but am trying to upgrade the hardrive.i bought a 500gb hardrive installed it but the dds or my pc cannot recognise it.

Why is this?

Does the dds 80 not support a large hardrive (over250)

Has anyone else encountered similar problems?

What should i do?

i changed mine for a 250 gig no problem

what i did notice the first time i connected it to the dds it took 10 mins to read it but that was just the first time ok now
