Dancing on gravel---ouch!

A rather unusual gig yesterday---the dancing area ( Barn, Line and Country Disco) was actually the gravelled Pub Car Park:eek: :eek: :eek:

It went fine but really hard going trying to demo and dance Barn/Line Dances on a sea of gravel and dust.

Still it didnt rain which was the bonus ( outdoor event )

Anyone got any similar stories of totally unsuitable dancing surfaces:bang:

Had a black and white dancefloor in a marquee... not levelled out by the company at all and the garden was a slope!
Was difficult to place speakers properly so they were not in danger of falling over!
