Numark HDCD1 any opinions?

Hi all, I'm considering getting a s/h NUMARK HDCD1 as a back up / second rig player, before I splash the cash, are there any known issues with this bit of kit? Anyone using one

I have no personal experience of this unit, but I'd tread carefully, as a quick Google for reviews has thrown up some reliability issues with this unit in the past...although it's possible they've since been fixed.

If your looking for a backup only you could use the Cortex HDC 1000 if you can work with a simple no frills type play out machine that would be a pretty reasonable price.
