Just an idea I had
Would it be possible to run a Mobile Disco Company myself as a multi operator, but not play an active part in the DJing side of it all the time
In other words, I would be Manager ?
Any ideas or anything
feel free to post

If you own the company you can employ other people to make you money.

Something I would love to when I grow up. I would love to have a company the deals with Marquee hire to supplying a Take That tribute.
Events organization is also up my street.
Economic recession doesn't help.

No Callum, Recession is whats going on with my hair. If a spons a spoon then the correct term is "The Countrys F:Censored: ed" :D
BTW, yes max it is possible to run a mobile disco and not dop any DJing. I earn a nice tidy fee of putting a friend into a local pub on a saturday night :)

Of course it would be possible.
I believe that's what Darren is planning on doing in the near future.

I would say Max I would just worry about being a DJ for the time being. You'll learn alot from your first gig about djing and what is required to run not just one succesful night but several and keeping clients and your djs happy.
It would be like everyone boarding a plane and then saying right whos going to fly this thing.
Don't run before you can walk!
Become a mobile Dj first and get to learn the trade first before you even think about running any form of agency type business.

Never really wanted to do that myself as being the manager is a lot of headache. Ill Dj's finding short notice cover, damaged hire equipment etc. I know a couple of agents and they seem over worked all the time and always looking tired.
Doesnt sound much fun to me.

If your working at the bottom end of the market you get bottom market djs
I think if you get the right guys around you it makes your life ten times easier.
