....for sale. (I have 2)

I bought these for my kids about 6 months ago and to cut a long story short, there are certain sites that the kids use that won't work on them.

The O/S is Linux Lite.
8.9" screen
Upgraded to 1.5gb ram
Intel Atom processor
8gb solid state hard drive
Both in blue.

Both in used but very good condition.

Ideal as a backup or kids PC.

there are certain sites that the kids use that won't work on them.

That is quite surprising really, considering their main purpose is web browsing. It must be something to do with Java, Macromedia etc, all the plugins are required.

Daz...still got? and do you know if its possible to wipe the OS and replace with XP? Im thinking along the lines of a dedicated daslight controller ;)

No, sold on Ebay and the reason was because I did replace the O/S with XP but they were too slow...

Darren, I must admit I do like the thought of running DJ programmes under linux as these netbooks are in abundance and releatively cheap too.

Shame we don't have many DJ programmes running under native linux.

but that's another thread I'm sure....
