hi folks, i wonder if you can help
fairly new to the dj setup. i`m doing small gigs ie coach parties at a local hotel and was really enjoying it untill last saturday. i`m using a KMX02 unit. i`m playing this through a peavey MP600 mixer amp with 2x15 inch speakers, also peavey. i`ve also linked an mp3 player through the KMX02 unit. it goes fine for about an hour then the sound gradually dies on me. it`s not the amp as i have a mic directly hooked up to it. the unit is hooked up with phono jacks to the amp and the mp3 is hooked up the same way to the units aux/phono output. do i mybe need a power amp?
please help:confused:

Right mate, away we go at the fault finding procedure.

You say the sound gradually dies, does the mic still work at this point?
If not, amp module overheating is most likely scenario.

I'm hoping this ; mp3 is hooked up the same way to the units aux/phono output. was meant to read input.

Battery?

not battery. kmx unit uses power tranformer and the mp3 player`s battery is always fully charged (36 hr capacity).
