Hey,

Need some advice....

I've got a soundlab smoke machine, the blue/green metal cased one (as a pose to the plastic cased one), and it would seem, after testing the circuits, the heating element has gone.

I was wondering, does anyone know where i can get the replacement part, or would it be cheaper to just buy another machine. And if so, should i move away from smoke to a haze machine?

And also, where can i get said new item for cheap!!! (We've gone over budget after deciding to follow everyones advice and invest in an ultimax  )

Thanks,

Tom

Get rid of it and buy a new one and a better brand. :)

I can get cheap, unbranded smoke machines and before anyone says, no, we don't distribute smoke machines as part of our company, I'm happy to order you 1 mind. What size/power smoke machine you looking for? The most powerful smoke machine I've seen is coming in at 3,000W ;)

I second Tom. The next Soundlab one you get will ultimately go the same way...so false economy and all that :)

I've got the cheap (50 quid) metal, blue cased smoke machine by Sound Lab and it's years old and never let me down. Used quite a bit. I know I havnt started my disco properly yet but I've used it extensively in my private garden parties mainly ;)

I went through four in my first 2 years. Heating element every time :)

Then got two Jem ones...as old as the hills, but going like workhorses :)
