lighting on goalpost

no right or wrong on this i think but in your opinion what looks better on a goalpost too many lights but symetrical or less lights but not symetrical,

on saturday we have a wedding at a small venue we only have enough room for the goalpost, how we normally run the goalpost is
impossiled ,dynamo x 3 ,equinox carbon (same size and shape as the impossiled) for weddings we put up a t bar with some chameleon 4's(which we use for first dances).
so no chance of the t bar with the chameleon 4's and the carbon is a waste of space at this venue(back wall too close to get any effect), so we are thinking of going
impossiled, 3 x dynamos , chameleon 4 ( enough lighting for the venue but won't look symetrical) the other option is
impossiled as the centerpiece 4 x dynamos either side and 2 x chameleon 4's.
will look symetrical but too many lights for the venue and may look cluttered
hope that makes sense

I'm a Symmetry kinda guy. 2 Impossibleds and a DJXP3 in the middle of our Goalposts.

Impossibled in the center, then 2 chameleons either side and 2 dynamo's on the outside. That would give quite good balance without being over the top.

Symmetry as well I'm afraid. Better to have to many light than not enough. Especially at a wedding when its a mixed crowd. You never know what to expect.

My main lighting rig (ooh that sounds grand doesn't it) is a goalpost (the other one been a T Bar) and my usual set up is to have 4 x mini penguin scanners mounted on the top (these are all DMX'd), on the underside of the crossbar I usually put the Prolight Triclops as the centrepiece (or a Broken Swing) and a Chameleon 3E (events gobo) next to it and on each end is a Datamoon linked as a pair.

On the T-sections to each end I usually hang an Apollo laser cannon on one and the Equinox Aries laser on the other.

So although that's 10 lights only a maximum of 6 are in use at anyone time.

Having said that though I'm trying to figure a way of mounting the Prolight Quadzilla in the middle section of the crossbar because I think it would look good and make my lighting displays much more versatile.

I appreciate that other DJ's might think this is overkill, but the feedback from customers has always been positive and complimentary (especially when the lasers spell out their names).

At the end of the day if my customers are happy then I'm happy
