Thanks everyone.
Had a chilled day after last night! Thanks to Peter (Excalibur) Tom and Sam for being the MDD contingent at the party.
Although there wasn't many there I think those that were had a good time.
Off to the pub in a bit for some karaoke :D
Thanks for the invite Paul. :)
Rachael and myself had a great night. Music was great and the food was fantastic. Never had Jamaican (couldnt hear you that well on the mic, :() but Rach and I both loved. Was such a shame to see so much food not eaten. :(.

Yes indeed. Gold medal for furthest distance travelled, and dedication above and beyond the call goes to Tom, and the lovely Rachael, who travelled up hundreds of miles, stopping only to hear some exotic speakers demoed in Walsall. Then drove straight home after. ( I'm not making it up, honestly! ) Tom said that on the way up he saw the signs for Mansfield, but didn't dare go in there without a native guide. ;) :D
Paul, many thanks for the invite, the evening was very educational. ( Well it certainly was when we walked to and from the venue! I'd recommend that everyone should see Chesterfield City Centre on a Saturday night before they die. It's certainly an eye opener. ;) ;) ;) )
Food, well and truly excellent. Certainly beat sausage rolls and crisps. :D
Disco and music: Since you gave him a playlist, we'll blame you. :p :D :D
Some great and less often played ones in there. Well done Paul, and Martin the DJ. Some of us went up with the time honoured phrase " Gis a go, I'm a DJ" :D :D :D :D Sadly, his gear baffled me. :o :o :o Nice bloke though, I learnt a lot.

Thanks Guys, that's all true about Tom aswell dedication indeed ;)
Was well pleased the way the food turned out although I think I'll be eating it for the rest of the week. The fridge is chokka block with patties, cous cous, jerk chicken and of course a rum tart :D
I thought the mic sounded really tinny aswell but hey ho there was no way my kit was going there that night.
As for my playlist you're right Peter there was a bit of everything, great to hear some top old skool rave tunes again :D

Was nice to chat to you Saturday. Saves Rach and I sitting on our own not knowing anyone. :)
Haha. lol. I have to admit Rachael was not all that impressed by the speakers but she did say how small they were compared to mine and how loud they were. She said she couldnt get her head around it.
Aww bless. :D
Not sure about exotic. The guy who I went to see if the only one I know who imports these speakers in to the country and he does me a good deal on the price too. :D Already got 2 drivers from him, and I plan to buy more. ;):D
Yeah, we did drive straight home and we still got stuck in traffic on the M1 at 2 in the morning. lol. Was going down to Camber Sands with a few guys for a drive in the morning so thasts why we went back early. :D

Don't like letting people down, even if its an invite. I will try my very best to get there, which i did do and get there 2 hours early. Haha. :)
To be honest, the sound was a little bright but after seeing the DJ's EQ, that explained it. Sound was good apart from that. :D
Music was spot on. Rachael and I both really enjoyed ourselfs. I even did a little irish dancing in the corner. :D :sofa:
