Hi Creature,

I saw the following in their terms & conditions:

"Under the licenses terms, mp3legal.org pays license fees for all materials downloaded from the site subject to the Law of the Russian Federation "On Copyright and Related Rights". All these materials are solely for personal use. Any further distribution, resale or broadcasting are prohibited."

The fact that it mentions the laws of the Russian Federation makes me think it could be dodgy.

The same statement also makes it clear that downloads are for personal use only...so even if it IS legal, it will be no good for use at discos.

They don't give an address on the website which leads me to believe they're dodgy. Also they have the word "legal" in their name which I'd expect is them trying to throw you off the scent. It's like "Quality Butchers". If they were so quality then why do they feel the need to tell you? Always suspect to me!

As Rob says, they've something to do with Russia who have very different copyright laws to ourselves.

I'd give them a very wide berth!
