Gentlemen:

As you know I have had a thread running regarding LED lighting and would like to say thanks chaps for all the suggestions,I have now decided that the ones I am going for are 2 x Mystics.

The purpose of this post is to publicly thank Gary at Shakermaker.

I know he has two of these lights and I emailed him for his honest views and thoughts.

As we all know Gary is a very busy person but not only did he reply to my mails he even had time to chat with me when I phoned him up.

I'd be interested to see that - the only time I've seen them working so far was at a Park Dean holiday camp in Looe Bay and they had them hooked up to a DMX controller running a really really limited program, so I'm sure I haven't seen them at their best.

mate of mine has a pair and likes them a lot. He uses just those and a pair of par cans. .... for now.

I've always rated the Mystics. I don't like the look of them to be honest but I do like the wide spread that they have and the movement too. With smoke or haze they look great. I use two of them linked togeather and it looks fine but I do understand that they are not everyone's cup of tea. I would rate them above the ImpossibLED (which was why Garry contacted me), because it seems to me as if there is more going on with them....also, at just over £100 per unit, I think they are well worth the money.
