I don't use Skype, but the quality of it is amazing.

I had a couple of friends who did a joint internet radio show. One was in the USA using Skype to connect to the main studio in North London, and listening to it you'd never know the two presenters weren't sitting next to each other.

I don't use Skype itself but do have VOIP account set up with another provider. However, I'm thinking of getting a Skype phone as I get free Skype from topping up my broadband dongle.

From topping up I also get free texts. I didn't know this until the last few weeks and I've got 1000's of free texts to use! :eek:

You know, Callum, I can't remember! I googled something like "VOIP Free Trial" and it gave me a list of services. A check of several forums revealed that a lot of these services were well dodgy but one was recommended so I gave it a try and it worked!

I've been trying to find the email that I got confirming my trial account but haven't come across it yet. I'll try and dig it out.

Yes use it for pre wedding meetings when the client is in London etc.

yeah i use Skype as a phone line . i rent the 0121 number as i don;t have a land line .
on my cards look real and rings the skype phone witch is wireless

The dongle is with 3. Everytime you top up you get extra stuff.

I don't know if you can get the Skype to work with the Dongle (haven't tried it, though!) but I know I put the sim in to a 3G phone and work it that way.

Did you buy the 0121 number from Skype, or from a 3rd Party?

Also, do you need your PC or wireless router constantly turned on to receive calls?
