Antari F80Z Fog Machine Help!

Hi Folks,

A few nights ago I was trying a new lighting setup at home and I had the Antari F80Z fog machine out as well. Once heated up, I pushed the button and nothing. You can hear the pump working but no fog. Eventually, tiny puffs come out but nothing like what it used to do. I then thought I would clean it so I emptied out the fog fluid, put in some water and ran it with that. Same again...NOTHING!

The only thing I can think of is the pumps given up (expected from a cheap, 2 year old fog machine) or it is blocked in some way.

Has anyone ever experienced this problem? Can it be fixed? Or is it time for a new one?

If it's time for a new one...What would you reccomend? Fog vs. Haze?

For what those machines cost its probably best to forget repairing it and go for a new machine.

Did you remember to empty the fluid out when you last used it? White vinegar is supposed to be very good for cleaning these.

Yes...I always take the unused fluid out after use and I havn't tried vinegar. I will give that a go.
