They're not a standard UK pipe fitting, I doubt you will find a UK stockist, the options are use a 4 way and blank one of the outlets off, or buy the 3 way fittings from an American supplier.

40mm internal size (e.g. to take a 40mm diameter pipe?) or 40mm external size?

I'm assuming that's a marquee or gazebo fitting, not a plumbing fitting?
