Holiday's are over

You can tell the Hols are finished. After hardly any enquiries lately, took 2 bookings yesterday and an amazing 11 enquiries so far today :eek: :eek:

Out of the 11 enquiries, 4 have booked, 2 meeting tomorrow, confident about 3, don't think will get 2. Not bad for a days work.

Nearly forgot - also got a sunday night residency. Alternating between Race Night, Play your cards right, Deal or no deal, and a quiz every week.

Am sure this happened the past couple of years as well, anyone else noticed this ??

I get the race night, quiz night & deal or no deal night, but how do you make a whole night of play your cards right? Do you just have loads & loads of games, one after the other? It's just that I do play your cards as part of my Thursday quiz, and it's all over in a few minutes!

(Truth - not sure yet, seen it done the other night so will make that the 4th week and 'conjure' up something) I have mentioned maybe including bingo, and a few 'bar games' on this night and even have giant jenga or snakes and ladders outside if nice. I have done a few nights like this before and they worked well.

End of hols seems to be good here, got home from 6 form at 1 and recieved an email via my website for may 2010, confirmed, and DJMaxtedo has handed me two more gigs later this year.

I have had a Sunday night residency for six years now.Quiz Night and PYCR and top music from the 60's 70's and 80's.Its older end of the market....sadly we have lost a few to natural causes juerst recently.

PYCR has been a disaster.....15 months ago the Landlord did a bunk with the £500.00 jackpot.

6 months ago.....PYCR Jackpot £400.00 went to landlady from pub down the road who comes in about twice a year.And last Sunday..to top it all....£350.00 Jackpot to villain who has just come out of nick for robbing someone at a cashpoint(so he's not been in recent either!!).


My regulars are so nice tho.....They even cheered for him:bang:
