Behringer tweeter replacement

I managed to blow one of my behringer tweeters on Saturday night. The only place I can find that sells them is Thomman in Germany, it's £36 plus £10 delivery. The only problem is it might not arrive by next weekend.

Below is the original, do you think the ebay ones are worth a go? The seller has good feedback.

Looks OK I first thought your one was twice the power but looking at it closer they are the same watts.

I wouldn't trust the ebay on but that's me. as a temp fix maybe OK. behringer parts are usually hard to find as there German most English companies wont touch behringer :(

The ebay one's a Sound lab, so not top of the range. On paper it's equivalent, so no probs there. I'd call it a temporary solution, and there might be other options. Would anybody be surprised if I posted a link to a company in Mansfield? :confused: :D :D :D

why don't you upgrade it ??

put something like a p-audio driver in instead as long as you match the ratings will posibly sound better too.

You also have to consider the sensitivity of the driver and the designed crossover point. I would advise getting a direct replacement.

They sound pretty good already (to my ears, but I'm no expert!). I've ordered the behringer part today, I just hope it turns up by next weekend.
