I'm filming some bits and pieces at at gig tonight on a mini dv camcorder .I find that if you go for the camcorder's automatic settings everybody's eyes look freaky and ity generally looks naff. Is there a camera setting that you would recommend for your average wedding lighting set up in a relatively small room?
Cheers

Have you got a light source attached ?
If not then play around with the manual settings to get the best average picture quality, unlimited focus... too
For best results you need a light, but then that can upset your guests.
I'm not an expert though... someone feel free to shoot me down in flames.

Do most of them come with a low light facility now?

Be careful with lights as you get the Rabbit and Headlight approach.
