So a bit about Magic....


Magic Fm (Ireland) has been running for 16 years (on and off) in the West of Belfast. Formally a resident DJ for the last 2 years I am now working for what seems like scraps of gigs. There is too many DJs in Belfast who are working for £80 and making a balls of peoples functions. It is hard to find a good paying customer these days without someone saying "I know someone who is charging 80 quid"

Thankfully with the peace process I can go into a bar without the fear of being shot dead, which is what happened here up until a decade ago. Belfast is now slowly turning into a wonderful place to party but the bars still close at 1am - cutting any party short.

I believe that after 16 years experience and hundreds of gigs that I can provide what the punters want. A good blend of music to suit the crowd. I am very good at reading the crowd and secretly believe I am Physic. Although people have told me I am actually pyscho.

The Magic FM name comes from my idols - Queen 'A Kind Of Magic' - my former Professional Video Production business was called Magic Video Productions. So I added FM to make the disco business sound more catching.

You'll be surprised how many people think I am an actual radio station. Yeah as if a radio station is going to set up shop in the local bar for someones 18th birthday. So I must be good if they think I am radio quality LOL.

My last gig was Sunday 6-12. 6 hours of non stop hits back to back in a room with no air con or open windows. It was probably my best gig so far. They were dancing on the tables, chairs, window sills etc. Managed to squeeze a few Neil Diamond in for an OAP along with a dance set for the 18 year olds. Baby **** to do.

Well actually I can do Magic - I can make a pint of :beer: disappear very quickly.

And I can sometimes clear an entire dancefloor.... only the odd time mind you.

If you look at all of the Mobile Disco's from northern ireland they all say blah blah's No1 or Blah Blah's Premier, i know ive checked lol, mine does too. But if you don't promote yourself who the help is gonna do it lol.
