There seems to be clean versions and explicit, I would like both versions. The way it works with some artists/songwriters is 2 Seperate Albums.

This (http://www.tescoentertainment.com/cd/lily-allen/it-s-not-me-it-s-you/10025546.html) appears to be the clean version, but is there an explicid album of it, or would I have to download the tracks seperately?

Is this for yourself personally, Max?

Assuming you have better taste (The Fear is decent though), and it's for DJing purposes, then I wouldn't say it's worth buying at all. Three singles have already been lifted from it, and are past their sell by date, with the last one (22) being lukewarm at best.

Bang on Track there! :beer1:

The Clean Versions are ideal for DJing purposes, and I like the Explicit Versions for private listening (although I'm not a massive swearer), But I shall also listen to the clean versions as well - it's nice to have both.

But you don't DJ Max so they are going to be for your personal use.

Opinions are irrellevant. I would like both versions.

The Question that requires an answer is in the original post.

I dunno if there's a clean version outside of the Radio Edit versions, but the album play sell online (and they only sell the one) is definitely the uncensored version.

On Spotify, there are 2 versions of a certain track, and the album cover artwork is the same on both.

Yet when I look at the album on Amazon etc, it only lists one of the versions.

Well why don't you buy them both? Then claim it back in your end of year Tax Return.

Steve - on the basis our old mate Nige sped off into the sunset on one of his turbocharged subs with alloy wheels, quite a few months ago now... perhaps time to update the avatar to "Maxwell Slayer" or the like? :)

I never thought of that.

I have found the Album is Explicit versions, so I can download the rest if need be.

Spot ON

Just for Max - There is a 'It's not me, It's you' megamix, that was on the first single extended ep (The Fear I think), it's 7.08 secs long, and to be honest, that's about as much as you really want to take of that album - I know, I got it for the missus and have to suffer it from time to time. From a DJ'ing point of view (pub nights probably an exception), why would you be playing Lily Allen????????

I like the Artist, so would like both versions preferably.

The Album contains all explicit (original cuts) tracks, so should I download the clean versions, or are they available on a seperate disc?

As has already been mentioned, there is only one version of the album (containing naughty swear words  ) - There are Radio Edit versions of the 3 singles that have been released off of the album - I don't think you'll find 'clean' versions of the rest of the album tracks, so you'll have to make do with the 'cheeky rudies' version I'm afraid:evelgrin:

Fair enough, I can always purchase Mixmeister etc in the future and make my own clean version :party1:

Not if you want to use it to play to the general public.

Oh well, go ahead, make your own version. :p

Ah, would that be ilegal then?

There must be DJs out there playing their own mixes, and what about playing a recording of your own mix, or a CDR?

If you purchase downloaded tracks, are you allowed to burn those to a CDR to be played?

That is disappointing. I was also surprised to see that Kate Nash only made one album, and that was it.

It's probably because they're both Solo Artists on their own, where's bands have the support from one another to keep it going :(

PRODUB!!!!!!!! :bang:

But he doesn't DJ (only in his bedroom!)....so he would not be liable under the Produb banner, however, if he wanted to start being a real DJ then he would be liable to abide by the rules.
