What the fricking chicken is going on with it? Last couple of weeks have been really random. Today I heard Like a prayer, sweet child of mine and a few other songs I never thought I'd hear on there. I know they moved a few djs around but playlist has been thrown out of the window.

I might even try and get either Reach or Cotton Eye Joe on myself!

I've noticed that too, I heard Like A Prayer yesterday - very strange. Maybe they've finally got sick of playing the same old guff repackaged by the mediocre artists in the charts.

Got to agree with Peter here, Radio 2 is the best on offer at the moment! I heard Pennsylvania 6-5000 on it a couple of nights ago ;)

I'm a Midlands Heart fm listener, but I'll be listening to our station from the 31st October when we launch on fm. :D

That was definitely a tie-in with Mika being in the Live lounge earlier and the fact Madonna was No.1 in the Album charts - Gregg was doing a quick Singles and Album chart round up, and needed a trrack to play off of Madonnas 'Celebration' (yet another repackaged Hits CD), and they asked Mika in interview earlier in the day what his favourite Madonna track was - answer - Like A Prayer. (Gregg di play the Mika soundbite before he played the track.

As for the DJ's, how in Flying :Censored: land did Fern :Censored: :Censored: :Censored: talentless, waste of space :Censored: :Censored: :Censored: annoyingly false Cotton get the gig replacing Jo Wiley!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In all fairness Jo and Edith are annoying as hell but least Jo as much as I hated her did appear to have some sort of passion for music.

Dont get me wrong love abit of cheese but as much tatt as there was on radio one you would get a few gems in there too, for example DJ Fresh - Hypercaine I heard on r1 about three weeks ago and cant stop playing it!

So Jo Wiley is perfect for radio because we don't have to look at her ;-0 They should have left Dot Cotton on the saturday morning TV shows when i'm still in bed nursing a hangover.

.... it appears Jo have moved to the afternoon slot replacing edith "i'm useless" bowman. She has moved to a weekend slot, presumably before they ditch her completely.

Edith and Jo are on weekends but no idea what time as Im always listening to 5live for the footy!

On a serious note, his early morning weekend show 'The Blue Room' was brilliant, I absolutely loved it - and then of course it got shelved :(

My radio 1 hate is scott mills, im sure if i met him he would be a nice guy but his style grates on me.
